We have great pleasure to inform you that the Chair for Gandhian Studies and Research, University of Calicut in collaboration with the Department of Political Science and Department of History, University of Calicut is organising a one day National Seminar on ‘Gandhiji’s visits to Kerala and Kerala Renaissance’ on 29th August 2024 at the Calicut University Campus.
Theme: Gandhiji’s visits to Kerala and Kerala Renaissance
Sub Themes: 1. Gandhian Influence on Kerala’s Social Awakening: From
Vaikkom satyagraha to Temple Entry Proclamation.
2. Gandhian Influence on Malayalam Literature, Language
and Culture.
3. Gandhian Legacy on Contemporary Kerala Society.

Call for Papers
Papers written in English or Malayalam are invited from Teachers, Research Scholars, Students, Gandhian activists, Media persons, Social activists on the main theme and sub themes.
Papers may be e-mailed as soft copies to gandhichair@gmail.com
Abstract not exceeding 250 words on or before 22nd August 2024 and the full text not exceeding 3000 words on or before 27th August 2024.
The abstract and full text may be typed in MS Word with 12 font size and double spacing.
We intend to publish the paper with ISBN provided sufficient papers are received.
